Productions

A production (or production run) is a planned job: a scheduled realisation of a recipe on a particular machine, with a destination cell for the output.

Productions, batches, and lots

A production can consist of multiple batches. Each completed batch typically creates one new lot.

Where you work with productions

  • Schedule and reorder runs on the Production Planning board.
  • A run groups the batches of a production; open a run to see its batches and resulting lots.
  • Finished lots appear on the relevant zone page and carry full traceability.
