16. Daily Workflows
Short, role-based checklists that string the features together into everyday routines.
Morning routine — production planner
- Open Alarms and clear anything outstanding from overnight.
- Review the Production board for the day's runs.
- Run an inventory check to confirm enough green stock.
- Adjust the schedule for shortages or priorities.
- Optionally optimise the run order for stability or gas usage.
- Brief the operators.
During production — operator
- Open Roastery control and confirm the plant looks healthy.
- Watch the active machine column on Production for the current run.
- Acknowledge any new alarms promptly and act per safety procedures.
- After each batch, verify the new lot appears with correct weights and WLP.
Receiving a green delivery — warehouse / green buyer
- When a shipment arrives, open Receiving (or create green lots manually).
- Confirm quantities and details — green lots are created in inventory.
- Register a sample for QC if your process requires it.
- Once approved, the lot becomes available for planning.
End of day — quality / management
- Review the Reports dashboard for volume, WLP, and anomalies.
- Spot-check lot parameters against targets.
- Export lot PDFs for any customers or certification bodies that need documentation.
Tracing a complaint or recall — quality / management
- Find the affected lot.
- Open its Genealogy to trace up to the green origin.
- From the green lot, trace down to every finished product it ended up in.
- Export the relevant records for your report.
