5. Working with Zones

Each zone has its own page in the sidebar. These pages share a common layout: tabs that keep related data together (Lots, Recipes, Parameters, and more).

A shared layout

┌─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Zone page (e.g. Roasting) │
├──────────┬──────────┬────────────┬──────────┬───────────┤
│ Lots │ Runs │ Recipes │ Parameters│ Groups │
└──────────┴──────────┴────────────┴──────────┴───────────┘
TabPurpose
LotsInventory units in the zone — filter, search, open for detail
RunsGrouped production runs (where applicable)
RecipesProduct / blend definitions for the zone
ParametersQuality parameters tracked on lots
TargetsTarget values for those parameters
GroupsOrganise recipes/coffees into groups

Which tabs appear depends on the zone and on what your organisation has enabled. A zone with only lots enabled won't show recipe tabs, and vice-versa.
