Packaging
The Pack page manages finished, packaged product. Open it from the sidebar (Pack). It requires the view packaged lots permission and the pack zone to be enabled.
Tabs
The Pack page mirrors the structure of the roast and grind zones:
| Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Lots | Individual pack lots (pack runs) with weights |
| Runs | Grouped packaging production runs |
| Recipes | Pack recipe definitions |
| Parameters / Targets | Packaging quality specifications |
| Groups | Recipe organisation |
Pack lots
A pack lot is one tracked batch of finished product — for example a run of 250 g retail bags. It is produced by a pack recipe that consumes ground (or roasted) coffee. Each pack lot keeps full traceability back through grind, roast, and green stages.
Pack recipes
A pack recipe defines the finished product: what goes in, the pack format, and the target zone (Pack). Manage these on the Recipes tab — see Recipes & Coffees.
Connecting to sales
Packaged products are what customers buy. When the Sales module is enabled, pack recipes/products link to sales orders, and sales orders can drive production runs on the planning board.
